TENACITY was curated in conjunction with the 100th Anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment in 2020, guaranteeing and protecting women’s constitutional right to vote. Being tenacious is a common link the Suffragette women have in common with these seven artists.
This exhibition features works by women who are extremely talented, creative and have had long successful careers in the Visual Arts. Lucy Fradkin, Raheleh Filsoofi, Bovey Lee, Beth Lipman, Shervone Neckles, Carol Prusa, and Jackie Tileston will be showing an array of work in disparate mediums from paintings to large glass installations. Please join us in honoring women of the past, while celebrating these tenacious artists whose work will be on display the entire season.
