I graduated from Kent State University with a B.F.A. In Art Education and went on to receive an M.A. in Painting. I taught Studio Art at Cleveland Heights High School for 30 years and retired in 2014. Teaching art to high school students was both rewarding and fulfilling, a real joy. Throughout those years of showing and encouraging student work I was making and exhibiting work of my own. I have shown in many galleries and competitions throughout Ohio including the Butler Museum of American Art, Cleveland State Art Gallery, and the Riffe Gallery in Columbus. Retirement has afforded me the time to immerse myself in painting the way I have always dreamt of.
