Leo Tecosky
Leo Tecosky deconstructs the iconography of graffiti and contemplates the complexity of visual language. His work is in the pursuit of knowledge and the amalgamation of cultural exchange. Tecosky uses glass in many forms: blown, engraved, enamels, and neon are the foundations of his practice. Recent exhibitions include site specific installations Graffiti and Ornament at the landmark Woodlands Cemetery in Philadelphia, and Semiotics II at the Gustavsberg Konsthall in Stockholm, Sweden as well as a solo show at the Agnes Varis Art Center in Brooklyn, NY. BA in Fine Art from Alfred University and an MFA from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, NY. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
