Materials Redefined (2021)
Curated by Judy Barie, the Susan and John Turben Director of CVA Galleries, this exhibition focuses on seven contemporary artists who work with their selected materials in non-traditional ways. The result is a thought provoking, inspiring show of pieces that have not been seen before in Chautauqua. Abstractions and realism are featured, resulting in a colorful play of disparate materials including paper, oil paint, vintage metal trays, and clay.
