Description

The painting reflects the use of wind for energy since 500 AD when the first windmills were used in Persia and China to the current time.
We have been resourceful in the use of wind for power since early times, yet it is still controversial even now.

About this Artist

Mary Khosh

Mary Khosh, Ph.D., had a 40 year career as a consulting psychologist working with leaders in business and organizations throughout the United States and internationally.  she worked with people who were under pressure, had intense lives and considerable stress, so she paints to create joy, fun, and moods that are upbeat and cheerful.  She began painting in 1993 and has studied with artists in Florida, North Carolina, and Chautauqua. She likes to experiment with various mediums, papers, and techniques.  He work has been selected countless times for juried shows by the International Society of Experimental Artists, and the International Society of Acrylic Painters. and she has been awarded signature status by both.   Her work is in corporate collections and has been exhibited in Ruth Eckerd Hall, Studio 620, Opera Central, Eckerd College, and the Woodfield Gallery in St. Petersburg, and the Strohl Gallery and Fowler-Kellogg Gallery at Chautauqua.
