foothills of Northern California near where she grew up. Her work focuses on the relationship we have with memories, places and objects. She paints familiar moments in time that might otherwise be overlooked, yet to her they represent much larger ideas of home, connection and the human condition. Her work brings the mundane and ordinary to life with the deep reverence she gives to the objects and spaces that she paints. Loader received her BFA from the Academy of Art University inSan Francisco in 2017 and her MFA from the University of Montana in 2021. During her MFA is where she committed herself to painting interiors from close observation. Working in thin layers, staining the surface of her paintings with methodical layers and marks, never covering up the layer before, but letting the layers remain slightly unresolved and exposed.
