Description
"The Things Left Unsaid" is a piece that serves both as a self-portrait and visual diary. This piece was created during a time of much questioning of my own identity, past cultural experiences, and present circumstances. It reflects how my experiences from my upbringing in a predominantly white American boarding school in Kenya translated into my experience as an international student in the United States. This piece became a space of bittersweet reminiscing questioning and reflection within my practice.About this Artist
