Description
I approach clay as a heavy truth waiting to be dissected. It tells me of the things that I can not yet see for myself. I rely on its plasticity, its ability to retain the marks of my body, as a place of reflection and making amends with a history that can not be changed. It records my every movement, every chance encounter, every intention, and shows me the possibilities of what I have at hand.
