Description
I have a strong interest in utilizing photography to document how and why everyday people feel compelled to illustrate their identity and uniqueness. The newly added tattoos on this septuagenarian’s “billboard” are but several examples to that end. What does this gentleman expect to gain by doing this? More conversation? Increased camaraderie? The “cool” factor? And what does society expect of him? Will we ever know? The client in this image is an attendee (and active biker) at Daytona Bike Week, one of the biggest motorcycle events in the United States, held annually since 1937.About this Artist
