Description

My painting was inspired by a 2024 televised moment. Out-of-touch multi-millionaire, now former CEO, of multi-billion WK Kellogg Co: Gary Pilnick broadcast an insulting message for those struggling to make ends meet. He suggested one should eat ‘cereal for dinner’. Short of eating from a trough, this psychotic idea and poor excuse for a solution will forever illustrate the obtuse disconnect in humanity where those who don’t have to care, won’t. With the often distorted lens of reality that comes from extreme wealth; my art portrays the offensive way a person may perceive what is acceptable for others. Thus highlighting the imbalances of financial realities, social and ethical incompetence, lack of humanity and the absence of common sense. I too can be a millionaire as Gary has proven that the required qualifications are low. What truly separates us though is my functioning soul and active conscience. My artwork is listed at $2,000,000.00. Fowler-Kellogg Art Center and I split the sale.
