Description
The dark sky at night is fascinating. Each night when the sky is clear, it is full of wonder. Each and every star twinkles in the dark. This summer the dark sky has had extra surprises. The International Space Station was visible many nights as it orbited through the sky. To know that astronauts are on it, amazing. This summer in July, I was lucky to view the comet NEOWISE. With binoculars I could could see its brilliant tail. The comet will not return for 6,800 years. Jupiter and Saturn have put on a great showing this summer. What wonders space holds for us!
