Description

Digital art as an emerging art form is transforming the way artists work and create. As a non-traditional artistic medium, it harnesses digital technology and empowers the artist to think of it as an essential part of the creative process.  Together with all traditional art forms, digital art expands the palette or the instruments that an artist is able to use in order to explore ideas.  Using computing technology with its array of applications, extensions and tools, and my almost thirty-year history with the technology, I am extremely comfortable exploring an idea and watching it emerge as if I were painting with a brush on canvas.  All of my images are born from a blank screen. They evolve to create imagery that blends movement, color, texture, patterns, and shapes that ultimately transpire to form a finished abstract.  I then output the image onto an aluminum substrate that best captures the extraordinary brilliance and colors of the image that were generated on my computer monitor.
