Little Dipper Studio, was created by me in 2014 and is an embodiment of my passion for merging vintage aesthetics with contemporary design. With a retro color palette and inspiration drawn from both the past and present, I craft handmade, hot glass objects that blend form and function. Each handmade piece in the Little Dipper collection emphasizes craftsmanship, simplicity of form, and ease of function. Courtney Dodd was a Core Fellow at Penland School of Crafts from 2006-2008. She then worked for Devin Burgess, a former resident at Penland. Dodd holds a MFA from VCU with an emphasis in glass and a BFA from Missouri State University with a dual emphasis in graphic design and illustration.
