Description

Easy Chair explores interior space through a playful reworking of perspective. Using collage elements layered with acrylic paint and repeated applications of gloss medium, I built up a luminous surface that feels both reflective and immersive. The composition deliberately bends spatial rules, allowing the chair and room to shift subtly under the viewer’s gaze. I was interested in how the familiar—an ordinary room—can become slightly surreal when reimagined through layers, light, and surface sheen. The result is a room that is part memory, part invention.
