Currently, I am primarily working as a potter in my backyard pole barn studio. My business name is Peggy Quinn Clay Studio although I do like to paint on the side. I have chosen to exhibit one of my paintings and one of my large clay baskets. I moved back to rural Erie County about 4 years ago and I started my business 3 years ago after purchasing my clay studio equipment and a full pantry of the potter’s raw materials. My next task was to create my potter’s palette of glazes and slips. During the beginning stages of my business, I was chosen by Erie Arts and Culture to receive a $2000.00 Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program grant. And just this past year, my business was chosen to receive a free 11 week business class for creatives called ErieMade. And now ErieMade has sponsored me to receive a free artist…
