Oil & Water Mixable flower pigment paint handcrafted from Chautauqua flowers on Arches 300g/m 100% Cotton Paper
16" x 20"
DescriptionThis abstract landscape is painted with flowers, not as the brush, as the pigment. And they’re not just any flowers. For this year’s theme, Into the Blue, I predominately used flowers containing anthocyanin flavonoids gathered from the grounds and my garden here in Chautauqua. With these pigments, I create a water-soluble oil paint that is non-toxic, non-plastic, and totally biodegradable. Making it water, soil, and soul friendly. It is a joy to paint with, and I hope it will bring joy to your life too.
