Description"Can't Stop Dancing" is a twelve-color lithograph that compiles images of archival queer dance parties from 1970 to the early aughts to depict one utopian bulletin board. In making this work, I was thinking about the lineage of queer dance parties and also about how these events were often isolated moments in which queer people could be and celebrate themselves in otherwise oppressive environments. Bringing them together invites us to envision instead the strong community that exists across time and space. This print was created in collaboration with the Normal Editions Workshop.
