This image is part of an upcoming series aimed at raising awareness of the unhoused population in Western Pennsylvania by using a combination of documentary and street portraiture techniques to show everyday life inside homeless "camps." The artist is working in close partnership with Light of Life Rescue Mission (LOL), the largest agency in Western Pennsylvania, that assists individuals by providing food, shelter, and hope to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness, poverty, or addiction.

Wayne is a former marketing communications, branding, and PR executive whose career centered around managing complex projects involving strategic communications planning, crisis communications, branding, writing and the visual arts. In addition to managing his own firm — providing creative branding services to both profit and nonprofit clients — he worked for ALCOA, Westinghouse Electric, Mayo Clinic and the U.S. Treasury Department. Did he ever want to be someone else? Of course.
