Description

The potency of the invisible and the erased-within visuality drive my research and practice. My attention has always been drawn to the mysterious spiritual abstraction artworks. In my art practices, I want to explore the relationship between us and the fast-changing world. How The world has changed us and how I cope with it emotionally. There's a lot going on under the surface. I like to use the visual language of abstract forms and lines to depict my most intangible feelings. For the subject matter, it is derived from animal bones, teeth and flowers. The idea of these two abstract paintings series came from my underwater snorkeling experience. I like to practice applying layers of oil paints on canvas to evoke the subconscious mood, to reach the dream-like states. My paintings, my style have developed along the way.
