Anne Cutri

Anne Cutri is an artist based in Erie, PA. She has been pursuing her artistic endeavors for over 40 years. Her work has always explored the inner landscape and the unseen. Mysticism a key component and often the concept of visual prophecy and prayer has been explored. Her work combines magical realism and fantasy, abstract symbolism and realistic rendering, and it is a welcoming world to experience. Her preferred medium is oil on canvas, often mixing with other mediums such as collage. Cutri has shown her work Nationally, and patrons span to Europe and Canada. She is a member of Christians in the Visual Arts (CIVA), Episcopal Church and Visual Arts (ECVA) and as well as Artists Who Evangelize (AWE), which also stands for Art for Wellbeing Everywhere, a business formed in the fall of 2018 to affect communities through the power of creativity. She is a member of National Organization for Arts in Health (NOAH) as well.

She is currently compiling a research paper in Arts Based Research and Grief. She will be presenting this research at The Creative Psyche and Arts-Based Research: A Transdisciplinary Conference in June at the Association of Jungian Analysts Center in London.  She is the Gallery Manager at a local gallery where she manages art, artists and art sales, as well as scheduling art exhibitions and events. Twice a month she facilitates art classes to people with disabilities.
