Resilience: Open CVA Members Exhibition (Upcoming 2021)
In conjunction with Chautauqua’s overall theme for week 9 in 2021 / Resilience, we invite our members to create and show work based on what Resilience means to them. How did you survive financial and emotional issues during 2020? What drives you to keep going when forces you can’t control work against you? What positive things did you accomplish during the pandemic ? And what does that tell us about our humanity and hope for the future? From a global pandemic to the quest for racial equality, we reflect on a revealing, historic period by lifting up the stories and the lessons of those of you who refused to give up, give in or go away.
Please send up to 2 submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org from June 1 – July 15, 2021. All exhibiting artists must be current Friends of CVA members at the Exhibition level in order to participate. At least one of your pieces will be shown. CVA Galleries takes a 50% on all sold works and will arrange for shipping of your piece/pieces to the purchaser.
This year due to the pandemic, this exhibition will be online only. We look forward to hosting your work once again, in person, in one of our beautiful galleries in Chautauqua Institution during the 2022 season!
