DESCRIPTION:Abby Chen is the Senior Associate Curator and Head of Contemporary Art at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. Prior to taking on this position\, she served for over a decade as the Curator and Artistic Director at the Chinese Culture Center and Foundation of San Francisco. Abby Chen was the Asian Cultural Council 2018 Fellow\, Getty Leadership Institute alumni\, National Endowment for the Humanities 2012 Summer Scholar. She graduated with Master of Arts in Visual and Critical Studies from California College of the Arts.
