SUMMARY:Caesura: A Solo Exhibition by Kerri Ammirata 
DESCRIPTION:The School of Art Gallery is pleased to present Caesura\, a solo exhibition of new paintings by Kerri Ammirata\, a distinguished alumni of CVA’s Summer Artist Residency. Drawing upon celestial imagery\, including suns\, moons\, planets\, and other cosmic forms\, Ammirata creates meditative fields of color and gesture that examine transformation\, perception\, and the shifting nature of identity. Through layered surfaces\, sweeping marks\, and recurring symbolic motifs\, the artist constructs spaces that exist between the personal and the universal\, the physical and the spiritual. In Caesura\, Ammirata considers how interruption can become transformation\, and how moments of profound change create opportunities for new forms of seeing and understanding.  \n\n\n\nThis exhibition is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.  \n\n\n\nKerri A Press Release 2026Download
